After years of working for employers in the construction industry, Barry took the decision to set up his own Building Consultancy and formed Wolfendale Associates Limited in August 2015.

Barry has over 36 years’ experience working within the construction industry, and over this time he has gained a great deal of experience and knowledge of building construction techniques and maintenance. 

Whilst working, Barry was able to expand his knowledge and develop his skills in the inspection of concrete structures for defects, then specifying and detailing the repairs required; the inspection of roof structures for defects, specifying and detailing repairs required in various materials including asphalt, bitumen felt, slates, tiles, profiled metal sheeting / metal cladding, single ply membranes and GRP as well as the inspection of brickwork, stonework and render for defects, specifying and detailing repairs required including crack stitching and  remedial wall / roof ties.

As  Wolfendale Associates continues to develop, Barry will draw on his 36 years’ experience of surveying & construction to move forward in developing further aspects of defect identification, testing and repairs on the whole building envelope for both the Commercial

and Domestic market clients.
